I started this project a couple of years ago when I visited Edinburgh and decided that I wanted to photograph the city in a different way to the usual tourism photography style. I wanted to capture the life and essence of the city from iconic buildings right down to the individual people that make the city what it is. What started with a single trip became several trips and then spread to other cities and is still growing.
